Numax Health

A blood test can give you a long table of numbers without making the next decision any easier. Numax is the preventive health membership I am building for Slovakia to make those results useful. Members get a broad baseline, see which areas deserve attention and leave with a plan they can follow.

The second measurement matters as much as the first. It shows whether the work between tests changed anything. Over time, Numax becomes a health history you can read, rather than another PDF filed away after each appointment.

Some of this is already built. The Next.js site explains the membership in Slovak and English. The Expo app covers the member journey from creating an account and booking a blood draw to reading results and asking questions about them.

The app currently runs on representative biomarker data. That is enough to test the screens, navigation and information hierarchy, while lab ingestion and clinical review are still being built.

I worked on the membership model, brand, bilingual landing site, app design system and mobile product. Owning the whole surface made it harder for the website to promise something the app could not explain or deliver.

Health data gets unreadable fast. The overview starts with the few things worth noticing, then lets someone open a marker for its range, history and explanation. Numax explains preventive health information. It does not diagnose or replace a medical professional.

The app now needs to connect to a real laboratory workflow. Results have to arrive in the right member account, pass clinical review and come back as a report that is safe to act on. The follow-up test then needs to repeat the same loop without losing the member's history along the way.
