1. Information We Collect

Personal details you provide

When you set up your profile you enter your display name, birth year, biological sex, height, weight, and fitness goal. This information is used exclusively to personalize your scan analysis and workout recommendations.

Body and face photos

Bod AI captures photos of your body and face through your device camera. These photos are uploaded securely to our servers solely for the purpose of generating your AI-powered analysis. Photos are stored in your private account and are never shared publicly unless you explicitly opt in to the public leaderboard, which shares only your display name and metric snapshot — never your photos.

Apple Health data

If you choose to connect Apple Health, we read your latest height and weight samples. This data stays on your device and in your private account. We never sell or share your HealthKit data with third parties, and it is never used for advertising.

Account and authentication

We use Firebase Authentication to manage your account. You may sign in anonymously as a guest or continue with Google. We store your Firebase user ID and, if you sign in with Google, your email address.

Usage and analytics

We may collect anonymized, aggregated usage data such as scan counts and feature engagement to improve the App. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Generate AI-powered body composition analysis and facial assessments from your photos.
• Create personalized workout and nutrition plans based on your profile and scan results.
• Sync your profile and scan history across devices via your authenticated account.
• Process subscription purchases and manage your access to premium features.
• Improve the accuracy and quality of the App's analysis and recommendations.

3. Third-Party Services

Bod AI relies on the following third-party services to operate:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, and secure file storage.
• OpenAI — AI model inference for scan analysis. Photos are sent to OpenAI's API for processing. OpenAI's data usage policies apply to this processing.
• Apple StoreKit — subscription purchase processing through the App Store.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Firebase Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage, both hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Your profile, scan history, and photos are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email address below. Upon receiving a deletion request, we will permanently remove your data within 30 days.

6. Children's Privacy

Bod AI is not intended for use by children under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent for optional data processing (e.g., Apple Health).
